The Government Administration and Election Committee held a public hearing this Friday, March 21st for various bills related to voting rights and access to the ballot box.
The ACLU of Connecticut supports, with amendments, S.B. 1514, An Act Concerning Curbside Voting Accessibility for Electors with Disabilities or Other Incapacities, which would allow for designated areas for curbside voting at polling places to assist electors with disabilities and other incapacities in casting their ballots.
