
The Government Administration and Election Committee held a public hearing on Friday, March 21st for various bills related to voting rights and access to the ballot box.
The ACLU of Connecticut supports, with amendments, H.B. 7229, An Act Concerning Accessibility to Absentee Ballots to Electors in State Custody, which would allow for eligible electors who are incarcerated in the Department of Correction facilities to apply for absentee ballots.
The General Assembly’s Government Administration and Elections Committee meeting was on Friday, March 21st, 2025.
