This election year, the stakes are high. Our democracy hangs in the balance. And the ACLU of Connecticut has a plan.

Similar to the Trump and Harris memos, we have a state-specific plan for election safeguarding, Project 2025, and a Trump or Harris win.

We have strategized dozens of scenarios, and have a plan for any outcome. We have legal, policy, advocacy, communications, education, and public action plans — including actions we can take to pressure our state government not to cave to an anti-democratic Trump administration. We have detailed plans for election scenarios, and we’re committed to monitoring and actions in case of bad faith actors at the polls. We have a strategic plan for either election outcome.

We have a Project 2025 playbook to combat the very real threats from those who attempt to shift our country’s narrative from that of a world leader due to our diversity and inclusion to a country of regressive, racist, and draconian ways.
