H.B. 7260: An Act Concerning the Use and Regulation of Drones

In its original form, this bill would have ensured privacy and public safety by protecting communities from unwarranted police drone surveillance and preventing police from weaponizing drones. The ACLU of Connecticut supported this original version of the bill but opposed an added amendment that would allow police to weaponize drones.
