We’re more prepared than ever to build firewalls that safeguard civil rights and liberties across the nation, and we’re focused here on Connecticut. We are working in the courts, the statehouse, and in the streets. When people’s rights are violated, the ACLU is ready to respond. We filed 434 legal actions against the first Trump administration, including dozens of challenges to the "Muslim Ban," which occurred one-week into the administration. In Connecticut, we are working proactively as legal, public policy, and communications teams to defend and advance your rights, while also providing education, know-your-rights explainers, and opportunities to engage in person and online.
