Serra Tickey joined the ACLU in June 2024 as the Summer Legal Intern. She is currently a rising 2L at Columbia Law School in New York. Prior to that, she graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University with a double major in Political Science and American Studies in 2023.
Growing up in Connecticut, Serra is dedicated to combatting discrimination in all forms, women's rights, and representing victims of sexual and domestic violence. This upcoming year, Serra will serve as President of the Trauma-Informed Lawyering Columbia Law School Society, and as a staff editor for the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law. In her free time, she enjoys reading everything fiction!
