ACLU of Connecticut debuts interactive legislative tracker for our 2025 priorities

The 2025 Connecticut General Assembly began its legislative session for the year today at the Capitol in Hartford. The ACLU of Connecticut was in the building, advocating for reforms in the criminal legal system, expansion of voting rights, reproductive justice, gender affirming care, housing, and other legislative priorities such as aritficial intelligence legislation and support for domestic violence survivors. With our Smart Justice leaders, we will be in the Capitol throughout the session, providing testimony, expert legislative guidance, and deep coalition work with lawmakers and advocates in support of civil rights and liberties throughout the state.

Our interactive legislative tracker is new this year. Keep up to date with testimony, bills, and learn how to contact your legislators in support of the causes you care most about.

View the Tracker here. We will keep it updated on our website and on social media throughout the session. Our first update is scheduled for January 25.
