Prosecutors are some of the most powerful people in the criminal justice system. They hold people’s lives in their hands, but there is very little information about the decisions they make. If Connecticut is going to create a smarter justice system, all of us need more transparency on what prosecutors are doing.
Join Smart Justice on Monday, March 25 at 10 a.m. at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford to support a bill to create a more transparent justice system.
On Monday the legislature’s Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing about Senate Bill 880, a critical bill to create transparency about the decisions prosecutors make. This might be the only chance to testify about this bill. We need to pack the hearing room with Smart Justice supporters.
