The Trump administration’s caging and separation of children from their parents has inspired justifiable outrage from all people of conscience. The Trump administration is holding thousands of children hostage to get his wish list of anti-immigrant policies, like building a wall, ending protections for children, constructing massive family jails, and deporting as many people as possible. This fight isn't over. Connecticut has much more work to do to protect immigrants, defund hate, end family detention, and make sure children and families are reunited.
JOIN US to rally at 9 am on Monday, July 2 at 450 Main Street in Hartford to stand with immigrants.
Even if you can't show up on July 2, there's still more you can do — whether it's telling your city to pass an ordinance to protect immigrants, telling your state legislators to prioritize immigrants' rights in the next legislative session, or pressuring Congress to put the administration's brutality in check. There's a lot left to do, but make no mistake: We will win. We only need to keep it up.
Monday's rally is supported by Connecticut Immigrant Rights Alliance (CIRA), Connecticut Students for a Dream, Connecticut Bail Fund, Hartford Deportation Defense Group, Make the Road CT, Unidad Latina en Acción (ULA), Windham Immigrant Rights Coalition (WIRC), the ACLU of Connecticut, and more.
