Sapana Anand joined the ACLU of Connecticut in August 2022 as its inaugural legal fellow. Prior to her fellowship, Sapana was a litigation associate at a law firm in New York. There, she concentrated on combatting employment discrimination, Fourth Amendment violations, and excessive sentencing. Sapana is committed to advancing racial justice through litigation and advocacy. She received her legal degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a Stein Scholar in Public Interest Law and Ethics. Sapana received her MSc in Gender, Policy and Inequalities from the London School of Economics in 2017.
